Getting a tutor means working one on one with a teacher. That means one student and one teacher work together.
At a language school, even if you have a small class with only eight students and one teacher, the teacher still has to divide his or her attention between eight students. However, as a tutor, the teacher can focus his or her attention directly on the one student. No time is wasted; anything the teacher and student talk about directly benefits the student.
In a classroom, the teacher usually follows a syllabus, that is, a teaching plan that the teacher uses to teach the students topics and language. Some of the topics and language may be useful to some students; to other students, it is boring because they have already learned about the topic and the language. With a tutor, however, the learning material is custom-made to fit the student's needs. The student only learns what he or she needs and wants to learn.
It follows that with a tutor, you, the student, learn more effectively, have more fun, and need fewer hours to learn what you need to learn because the lessons are focused on your interests.

One thing that happens to you when you try to speak a new language is that you feel uncomfortable sometimes. Maybe you can’t find the right words, or you can’t pronounce that sound!
I will make you feel at ease in the learning process so that you never feel uncomfortable or silly when you try to pronounce new sounds or express your ideas. Because I have learned other languages, I know how difficult it is!
As a professional teacher, I have heard again and again that the teacher is the most important part of the learning process.
If we don’t like the teacher, we won’t learn. However, if we feel comfortable with our teacher and like him or her, we can make great progress!
